Hockey Tek Titles

A hardware-and-software system for creating and overlaying informational graphics onto a video feed. It displays live game information, outputs statistical data about events and players, and includes an advertising block with display time control.

The system consists of two parts:
  • a league graphics package stored on the server
  • software that operates with the graphics package

Match data can be entered manually or automatically (when a league database is available). The software has an intuitive control interface that allows preparing data for the current game within 20 minutes. With a league database, pre-game preparation can be reduced to 5 minutes.
A number of game and officiating rules are automated, preventing on-air graphics output errors by the operator. With the Hockey Tek Referee module connected, the graphics operator does not need to focus on time intervals and game events. Clock stoppages, player penalties and their durations, goal scorers and assists will be displayed automatically. At any moment, the graphics operator can make adjustments to match information.

During the match, the software performs validations that prevent incorrect data entry or an invalid sequence of operator actions. The titles flash animation is embedded in the software and cannot be modified by third parties.

Graphics output can be minimal—score, periods and clock, shots on goal, penalties and penalty details, timeout, empty net—or expanded, with full statistics for teams, rosters, players, sponsor advertising banners, and more.

For reliable operation, the software requires a computer running Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel i3 CPU, 4 GB of RAM, a free USB port, and a local network connection.

The graphics package is created by our designers, approved with the customer, and uploaded for secure storage and access in cloud storage.
